Senior ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Auditor

We are hiring a Senior ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Auditor to lead laboratory audit assignments
and support laboratory quality system effectiveness, accreditation readiness, and
continual improvement across testing and calibration environments. The ideal candidate
demonstrates strong technical understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, sound
professional judgement, independence, and high-quality reporting. 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Lead ISO/IEC 17025 audit planning and delivery, including scope definition, audit
    programme design, and evidence-based execution
  • Assess laboratory management systems, technical operations, and operational
    conformity against ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Evaluate laboratory processes including method implementation, equipment
    control, calibration, traceability, competence, records, and quality assurance
    practices
  • Document audit findings with clarity and precision, including nonconformities,
    observations, and improvement opportunities
  • Guide corrective action planning and verify closure through objective evidence and
    follow-up reviews
  • Provide accreditation readiness support to laboratory teams and management,
    strengthening compliance discipline and technical system effectiveness
  • Produce executive-grade audit reports and present findings professionally to client
    leadership and technical teams

Qualifications

  • Recognized ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent training in
    ISO/IEC 17025 auditing, implementation, or laboratory quality systems
  • Minimum 6 years’ progressive experience in auditing, laboratory quality systems,
    accreditation readiness, or management systems across multiple organizations
  • Strong competence in audit reporting, evidence evaluation, root cause review, and
    professional judgement
  • Good understanding of laboratory operations, technical records, equipment
    control, calibration, traceability, and quality assurance of results
  • High integrity, independence, and confident client-facing communication
  • Experience in testing, calibration, chemical, petroleum, analytical, or regulated
    laboratory environments will be an added advantage
  •  ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification may be an added advantage where supported by
    practical laboratory quality management experience
